The Netflix film will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival before it hits Netflix on September 22nd.
The documentary will give fans full access behind the scenes of Gaga’s day to day life, documenting everything from the making of her newest album Joanne, her Super Bowl halftime show performance and her Golden Globe winning performance as The Countess in American Horror Story: Hotel as well as the aftermath of her split from fiance Taylor Kinney.
Chris Moukarbel is the director behind the documentary spotted over the past year following gaga with large camera
On Thursday, singer debuted the official poster through Instagram
After seeing the three preview clips Gaga posted, the documentary gets quite deep and personal revealing some of the stars insecurities.
In the first video, Gaga is in what looks to be a pool completely under, with audio of Gaga crying to close friend and hair stylist Brandon Maxwell about how lonely she feels.
“But like, I just… I’m alone, Brandon. Every night, and all these people leave – right? They will leave and than I’ll be alone. And I go from everyone touching me all day and talking at me all day to total silence.”
Another clips shows the superstar being raised to the roof of the NRG Stadium during her Superbowl half time show performance.
One of the most concerning previews is when we see the singer sitting in a doctors office completely shut down being treated for what seems to be about her chronic pain.
“Phase 1, let’s try to get you out of this intense pain that’s in your face where you feel like you’re running from the title all the time” her doctor is seen explaining. “And I know there’s this component of sight that Dr. Modeer is working on, phase 2, let’s try to get the muscles to re-educate. Phase 3 we do the blood spinning to try to cause regeneration. So I’ll be back and then I’ll talk you through.”
In the final clip Gaga starts to address her relationship with Madonna, which throughout the years has had it share of rumored drama, after Madonna claimed Born This Way was a rip off of her song Express yourself.
“So the thing with like me and Madonna, for example, is that I admired her always, and I still admire her, no matter what she might think of me” Gaga confides in her friend who laughs which Gaga replies with.
“No I do, the only thing that really bothers me about her, is that…” and the screen goes black.
Gaga is currently touring the United States having just kicked off her Joanne World Tour, performing some of her greatest hits, “Just Dance”, “The Edge of Glory” and “Applause” as well as songs from her newest album like “Perfect Illusion” and “Million Reasons”.
